Sedgemoor is a special part of Somerset in the South West of the United Kingdom.

In Sedgemoor, you can relax on seven miles of beach between the family resorts of Burnham-on-Sea and Brean Sands.

You can also admire Cheddar Gorge with its spectacular cliffs and famous caves or have a short break in the Mendip or Quantock Hills.

The area is perfect for activity holidays and famous for its illuminated Guy Fawkes Carnivals.

A low lying area of land close to sea level between the Quantock and Mendip hills, itis historically largely marsh and contains the bulk of the area also known as the Somerset Levels.
